Johnny Onkst was initiated into Del City Chapter, Del City, Oklahoma and subsequently became the Oklahoma State Master Councilor. He holds the Legion of Honor and Chevalier cordons. Johnny served as International Congress Secretary 1985 - 1986. He became a Master Mason, serving as Worship Master of Jenks Lodge, Oklahoma. Johnny was Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Oklahoma 2007-2008, during which time he was Chairman of the North America Grand Masters Conference.
Johnny received his BBA in accounting and finance from the University of Oklahoma, and his MBA from Oklahoma City University. He currently is Senior Vice President of Bank of Oklahoma for corporate real estate services. His volunteer work, outside of DeMolay, includes over twenty years with the Oklahoma Special Olympics.
