Jim served as Alabama State Master Councilor in 1979, receiving his Chevalier in 1982. He served on advisory councils, earning his Cross of Honor and Legion of Honor. He has served the ISC since 1994, and was Alabama Executive Officer for 18 years. Jim was DeMolay’s Grand Master in 1999-2000, and also has served as Grand Treasurer.
Jim’s Masonic experiences began in 1982 with Florence Lodge #14, serving as Worshipful Master 2005-2005. He also served as Master for Greeno Lodge #598 in Alabama. He served on numerous Grand Lodge committees and offices. Jim was the Most Execellence Grand HIgh Priest of Alabama Royal Arch Masons in 2010, and Most Illustrious Grand Master of the Grand Council Royal & Select Masters of Alabama in 2015. He has served with distinction several other Masonic bodies, inlcuding the York Rite and Scottish Rite. He was Rainbow State Dad 2016-2017. This is Jim’s second series of DeMolay Foundation terms.
Jim served with the U.S. Marines for six years. His work involves retirement benefit services.
